"We have an exciting new opportunity to join a Loss Adjuster team within an innovative household claims department. We want someone with excellent communication skills who can deliver a high-quality service to our customers and is adaptable to move with the ever-changing claims world.
Main Duties
We understand the importance of understanding a role and being invested in a company that treats employees right to get the best of them. Admiral do the right thing by not only their customers but also their employees!
- Visiting Policyholders properties to assess damage and produce schedules of work utilising scoping tool Symbility or similar to settle claims
- Manage claims up to £100k but predominantly claims from £10k-£50k with development opportunities
- Ensuring agreed supplier invoices are accurate and in line with agreed contracts
- Ability to understand problems and find solutions
- Providing excellent customer service to assist with NPS scores
- Making the right decisions to control claim spend to lower average claim costs
- Proactively managing a case load from start to finish and taking responsibility
- Working independently but actively being involved in a friendly team and department
- Effectively managing time on a day-to-day basis, existing and new claims queries and associated activities.
- Building relationships with surveyors/ internal stakeholders
- Identifying potential recoveries and fraudulent claims
- Actively having a say in the best ways of working
- Making decisions to mitigate losses and prevent secondary damage
- Being involved in projects and surge situations where required

Skills:
- Property & Loss Adjusting Experience
- Household Claims Experience
- Experience in managing claims upto and over £100k

Other information
A full driving license is required for this role. We are interested in speaking with enthusiastic people with a ‘can do’ attitude. Strong Microsoft skills along with any CII/CILA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Second stage interviews for this position will be confirmed in due course and possibly will be in the candidates locality

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
