AIGL
Admiral Insurance (Gibraltar) Limited (AIGL) is part of the Admiral Group and is the Groups largest Insurance entity, underwriting Motor, Household, Travel, Pet and other lines of UK business. AIGL is based in Gibraltar and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC). The office is made up of a Finance, Governance, Risk and Compliance and Business Resilience Team. Who all work closely with the UK Intermediary Firms appointed to distribute and administer the insurance products underwritten by AIGL.
Customer and Conduct
Our Customer and Conduct department supports the evolution of the way we engage with our customers and ensure we continue to maintain and improve their confidence in the way we do business. They’re also responsible for understanding our regulators and working closely with our Risk and Compliance teams.
Facilities
The facilities team at Admiral are the first people you’ll meet when you enter the building. They are dedicated to ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for employees and their visitors. They manage building services, office amenities, space planning, and safety and security protocols. This includes routine maintenance, addressing repair requests, and conducting regular inspections to catch potential issues early.
Internal Consulting
Admiral’s internal consulting department plays a pivotal role in driving business change and solving complex issues. They work closely with business leaders to provide strategic advice, support organizational change, and enhance operational efficiency and bring new perspectives and problem-solving skills to address the company's challenges and support its growth. The team is involved in a wide range of activities, including strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, new product launches, and regulatory compliance, as well as managing projects, improving processes and implementing business strategies.
Legal
Separate from our firm Admiral Law, our in-house Legal team handles commercial and corporate legal matters, company secretary tasks, and manages Admiral Group share schemes. Their work includes contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property management, commercial litigation, board meeting administration, and share scheme management.
Procurement
The procurement department here at Admiral are responsible for acquiring the goods and services necessary for the company's operations. This includes sourcing and managing external suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimising savings. They also play a crucial role in mitigating risks through effective supplier contracts and making informed business decisions based on market intelligence.
