"Job Description:
We are looking for an outstanding Project Lead to support the Project Manager in delivering full integration of a third party claims and supply chain operating platform into the Admiral Household Claims Department. The third party is Core Logic, whom create a wide range of products that bring smarter thinking to the world of property insurance claims. This role will have accountability for delivery of the platform, including Guidewire integration, into a fully working and operating platform that allows full use of all functions and tools across our claims teams. Collaboration with stakeholders to identify customer, service supply chain and supplier needs is critical. The Project Lead will work closely with the Project Manager, Head of Supply Chain, UK supply chain operations manager and IT to ensure successful delivery.
Admiral Household insures over 1.3m UK customers and is one of the fastest growing home insurers in the UK market. Claim volumes will exponentially increase as the product grows, requiring smarter solutions for our staff and customers. Development of supplier instruction integrations, intelligent triage and customer portal solutions, via the Corelogic platform, is a key objective to Admiral’s long term HH claims strategy with full implementation and self-service available by the end of 2023, delivered through several key phases of integration and delivery.
You will be a subject matter expert who will provide the direction and approach of the project from inception to conclusion and delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented candidate preferably with extensive project management and Household claims and supply chain experience. You will be joining one of the UK’s fastest growing and successful insurers.
Reporting directly to the 'Head of Supply Chain' you will be operating in a highly agile environment whilst delivering critical key stage phases of the integration plan.
Travel to Admiral offices in South Wales and various UK suppliers may be required from time to time, using the Departments own 'Agile working framework'
Main Duties & Skills:
- Travel to Admiral offices in South Wales and various UK suppliers may be required from time to time.
- Identify opportunities to drive value and improved performance vs existing tools and models both short and long term.
- Management of key dependencies across IT, Info Security, Data Protection and Group Procurement.
- Collaboration with SRMs and key supplier management teams to ensure each supplier is ready for onboarding.
- Research competitor influences
- Ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are met at all times
- Be the voice of the internal customer, identifying business demands and priorities
- Influence the Project Manager and Sponsor to ensure timely delivery of critical phases
- Identify and escalate risks and issues through formal governance framework)
- Timely presentation of requirements to ensure relevant sign off of deliverables is completed on time
- Build and maintain relationships with the sponsor, project manager and supply chain staff to ensure the project successfully identifies business requirements and desired outcomes
- Ownership of scope and business-related risks, issues and mitigation activities
- Responsible for all ongoing development, management and evolution of the platform across household claims and the supply chain
- Liaise and influence key stakeholders across IT, procurement & in the supply chain
- Comfortable with change and adaptable to evolving processes. Motivated by new challenges.
- Senior Stakeholder management including steering and leading various key and critical meetings
- Responsible for supporting the Sponsor with ensuring the project is managed within our formal PMO Governance Framework.
- Presentation in senior forums.
- Effective management of Corelogic functions and personnel to ensure they deliver phases on time.
- Key liaison point for Corelogic – effective management of key relationships with partner
- Adopt Admiral PMO process and methodology
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Project Lead/Manager experience
- Project risk appetite and evaluation techniques
- Project design methodology and agile
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of balancing business needs with delivery capacity
- Strong communicator
- Exemplary reporting, written and numerical skills
- Understanding of Supply Chain Process in GI Home environment
- Designing and delivering new processes
- Household Claims experience including integration with new process/frameworks and influencing key stakeholders to ensure this is successful (or influencing/integrating)
Desirable:
- Working knowledge/understanding of Corelogic products, platform and functionality.
