We have exciting opportunities for the right individuals to join the Claims Change and Product team as we recruit PMO Managers and Executives. We are happy to accept applications from individuals looking to progress, as well as those already at this level.

Claims Change (Motor) and Product is a department made up of several change areas who are responsible for delivering value back to the wider Claims Department. The department is made up of several teams including Projects, PMO & Value, Product, Business Change, Digital Value, Offshore Strategy, Automation and Workforce Management (WFM).

The Project Management Office (PMO) team plays a crucial role in facilitating the successful implementation of new changes and value within the Claims areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with key governance standards, including completing reviews of project documentation for consistency and clarity in the information recorded, tracking progress and benefits and compiling claims information to play back to key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about continuous improvement, is analytical and has a strong attention to detail. You’ll be reporting directly into the Claims PMO Lead and will be working collaboratively with the wider Claims Change and Product areas.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the PMO Lead in ensuring all new changes for Motor Claims meet minimum governance standards and engage with the appropriate areas of the business.
  • Ensure the Claims Project, PMO & Value areas are adhering to key governance controls, including completing reviews of project documentation for consistency and to ensure they meet minimum governance standards.
  • Ensuring roadmaps for the various Claims Change and Product areas remain up-to-date.
  • Compile steering packs by gathering and organising information.
  • Provide support to the Claims Change & Product area in governance frameworks, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support the wider Change & Product areas with providing visibility of ongoing risks.
  • Support the PMO lead to provide visibility and assurance to the Change and Product leadership team of the governance standards and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Portfolio Office (PFO) around new change processes and effectively communicates changes to the leadership team.
  • Promotes standardisation of new change processes
  • Support the wider claims areas with guidance on the process for securing new change.
  • Gathering of project & programme information
  • Supporting the wider Change & Product areas with providing visibility of ongoing risks
  • Maintains capacity tracking.
  • Support the promotion of project governance and frameworks.
  • Co-ordination of meetings, training and workshops
  • Uphold project assurance and quality control standards.

Key Skills:

  • Previous Project and/or experience of reviewing work is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to think holistically and strategically about objectives, risks and opportunities.
  • Confident user of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Methodical approach to detail ensuring high quality of work.
  • Ability to quickly understand new concepts and principles.
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to clearly convey information, manage stakeholders and facilitate collaboration amongst team members.
  • The ability to bring strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible and able to react to adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Confident user of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Time management: the ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources effectively and meet deadlines.
