An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Damage Supplier Services department in a newly formed role as the Network Operations Manager on a permanent basis. This is a senior role with full accountability for a large motor repair network including responsibility for excellent cost and customer delivery, strategic capacity planning, and ensuring we have a future-proof network capable of repairing evolving vehicle technology.

The successful candidate will have an overall responsibility for developing and implementing our continued network strategy as well as managing cost, customer, and capacity performance across our approved repair network. This role is predominantly remote, but with expectations around visits to repairers and occasionally visiting the office.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the management of a high performing motor repair network delivering excellent customer experience and market leading cost control.
  • Developing and implementing our repair strategy to ensure we have a future proof network and enabling a digital customer journey.
  • Build strong working relationships with the senior members of our AR network and across the industry.
  • Create a data driven culture using robust operational MI to drive performance and highlight issues.
  • Effectively manage capacity across the network including proactively planning for seasonal variations and continued growth of the Admiral book
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators to ensure contract adherence and performance targets are met.
  • Identify and drive best practice across our network.
  • Build strong relationships with the wider claims area to ensure we deliver the best customer journey.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks to the business.
  • Leading a high performing and engaged team ensuring that the culture within the department reflects the four pillars of “Communication, Equality, Reward and Recognition and Fun.

Required Skills

  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly numerate and data driven with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Experienced people leader
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – including report writing.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Commercial supply chain or motor repair industry background desirable but not essential
