We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, self-motivated and talented individual to take on the role of Team Manager in our ULR department! 

This department focuses on providing a high standard of care to our clients, in seeking to recover their un-insured losses following a road traffic accident.

In this role, you will be managing a team dealing with claims to recover uninsured losses; and will be responsible for running the team, driving performance, reviewing work, ensuring we always provide excellent client service in an area where there are risks to our clients. The ULR Team Manager will be responsible for supporting and developing a team of established case handlers who deal with both pre and post litigated work. Given the level of support and development that the team will require this is a full-time role.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and support a team of case handlers daily, instilling the Admiral Law Culture in your team
  • Give technical guidance on claims within your team
  • Performance manage, coach and develop individuals, encouraging them to excel in their roles
  • Regularly audit claims in line with our review strategy and provide constructive, face-to-face feedback
  • Review Court Documents and ensure Court Deadlines are met
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that we are providing excellent service to our clients, whilst maintaining a clear audit trail of your work and feedback given
  • Listen to calls with your team on a one-on-one basis and in a group monthly
  • Ensure the team’s work is in line with our company SLAs and KPIs
  • You will be expected to speak to our clients and at times, deal with and resolve complaints made by them
  • Run workshops and training sessions for your team (and potentially the department at times) to ensure that they continue to develop technically
  • Always ensure that we act within our regulatory framework, with the best interests of our clients at heart
  • Interact with the wider management group and give your opinion on changes and help us shape the future of the ULR department, therefore the ability to adapt to change is essential
  • Proactively keep up to date with industry changes, working closely with our management group to develop and grow as a business
  • Assist the Senior Management Team with project work and recruitment as and when required

About You

We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, a passion for the role and a desire to get the best out of the people they manage. It goes without saying that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills, not to mention an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding client care.

We want our managers to be innovative and continue to strive for improvement, both within their team and the wider department. Previous claims and liability claims experience is advantageous along with a background in coaching and developing people.
