Role Requirements
As the PMO Analyst you will report to the Mortgages Business & Change Manager and be responsible for supporting our portfolio of change. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive person who can play a key role in enabling efficient and effective change delivery. Activities will include:
1. Documentation and Tracking:
- Working with delivery managers to ensure we have appropriate and up-to-date project documentation in place
- Working with the Change team to develop and maintain portfolio, resource and budgetary plans
- Track portfolio, project and small change progress, milestones, and deliverables
2. Financial Management:
- Assist in budgetary management for change projects
- Monitor project expenses and invoices and work closely with the Finance Business Partner to ensure adherence to Admiral financial processes
3. Risk Management:
- Support the identification, assessment and documentation of project risks
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop risk mitigation strategies
- Proactively manage risk mitigation actions to ensure consistent progress
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on portfolio and project performance
- Undertake and support analysis to provide insights for change decision-making
5. Compliance and Regulatory Support:
- Ensure project activities align with regulatory requirements
- Support the collaboration with legal and compliance teams so that we can be assured of delivering compliant change
6. Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication between delivery teams and stakeholders, in particular wider Admira Money and Admiral Group stakeholders where necessary
- Prepare communication materials and updates for various audiences
- Input to governance documents e.g. Change Steering Committee
7. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization within the PMO
- Implement improvements to enhance project efficiency
- Support the documentation of way of working as we build out the operation
8. Quality Assurance:
- Monitor project deliverables for adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with teams to address and resolve quality issues
- Support Assurance and Audit exercises as needed
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous PMO, project support of project management experience, preferably in the mortgage industry (but not essential)
- Have sound knowledge of project management methodologies
- Be able to build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Be a strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be comfortable operating in a fast moving and fast growing environment
- Be flexible, proactive and a team player
- Be driven by a need to continually improve – product, processes, performance
