"As a Litigator in our Claimant Litigation department, you will be representing our clients who have been injured as a result of a road traffic accident to bring a claim against the Defendant for damages using court proceedings. The successful candidate will deal with a caseload of litigated files, including liability and quantum disputes from the commencement of proceedings, up to and including trial.
Aside from investigating the accident circumstances, you will be responsible for the investigation of our client’s claim for Personal Injury. Your role will involve obtaining evidence in support of our client’s claim, valuing the injuries sustained and gathering all of the required evidence in respect of their losses.
This is a great opportunity to join an exciting area. Our existing team is made up of solicitors, legal executives and paralegals of mixed and broad experience.

The Role:
Our Litigators deal with cases from the point of proceedings being issued all the way up to Trial with the overarching goal to obtain the best possible result for our client.
A focus on how to prioritise your work in a busy environment will be essential to the role and effective time management is crucial in a fast paced, litigation environment. A successful litigator will have strong drafting skills, a keen eye for detail and excellent client care skills. Excellent communication skills are a must, and you will be required to use the telephone effectively and professionally to speak with clients, witnesses, opponents and the Court.
We are looking for someone who shares a strong team ethos, is engaged, and has a positive attitude and a willingness to make decisions. The successful candidate will show good initiative and be able to confidently communicate with other team members and consistently learn new skills.

Experience required:
- Experience of handling litigated claims.
- The ability to weigh up various approaches and then action the appropriate solution will be essential.
- An eagerness to get ‘stuck in’, whilst you maintain strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic about delivering great service.
- The desire to perform to the best of your ability will be indispensable.

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
