The Role’s Remit
The Operations Lead role is critical to the success of our customer-centric Motor Finance product. Leading the design and development of the end to end operational processes, the role will work closely with the product and operations teams (sales, service, underwriting and collections) to relaunch the Admiral Money’s secured motor products. The candidate will have strong industry experience to challenge the status-quo. Whilst also having the ability to engage staff across all levels of Operations to bring them on the journey and encourage their enthusiasm for motor
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Motor Product team and you will re-design effective and efficient motor finance operational processes
- Develop and implement an operational recruitment strategy to support the re-launch of Admiral Money’s Hire Purchase product in Q1’ 23
- Own and shape the procedures related to the end to end motor finance processes
- Ensure strong compliance of the end to end processes working closely with the Risk, Compliance and Product teams to gain sign off ahead of launch
- Own the change management of any operational processes relating to the motor product
- Responsible for the engagement and communication with front-line teams to prepare them for the re-launch of the secured motor products
- Provide industry insight by collaboratively working with the motor product team and programme Maverick to rebuild Admiral Money’s motor journey
- Identify operational weaknesses with the live motor products to ensure they are mitigated in line with the Consumer Duty Act
- Support the management of the live secured products by working with the Operational areas to resolve MQ complaints
- Identify and define training requirements to support the relaunch of the products
- Conduct root cause analysis of live operational issues
Experience:
- At least 1 years’ experience working within the motor finance industry
- Operational management experience with experience of working within at least one area of: Sales, Customer Service, Underwriting or Collections
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think differently to challenge the status-quo
- Great logical thinking ability, communication skills, self-driven, and quick-learner
- Have a sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a strong capability to work under pressure
- Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
