"Do you love building user interfaces? Are you passionate about digital design systems? And do you have experience designing and implementing high-quality UI components for companies?
Do you value design tokens and have experience with theme-able design systems for multiple products and brands? We’re expanding our design system team and looking for a passionate UI Designer to help maintain, create, and organise new components into our design libraries.
As a UI designer will need to enjoy all aspects of user interface design, from their conception to their build, be able to adhere to brand guidelines and deliver components that scale. Working on a number of brands, across a number of channels, we want a UI designer that loves to get their hands dirty in creating assets and is excited to work with the development team to bring them to life. Responsibilities We're looking for a Design Systems UI Designer to contribute to enrich and expand the reusability of the design system (Think Multi-brand system).
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Creating new UI components.
- Refactoring old UI components.
- Monitoring and maintaining UI components to align with the design systems standards.
- Maintaining any changes required to our design libraries to ensure the UX and development teams have all the resources readily available.
- Writing UI documentation defines how to use and maintain it.
- Working with engineering teams to create UI components for development.
- Validate components quality through testing.
- Feedback and redefine tokens when necessary.
Requirements:
- Solid background as a UI/UX designer (3+ years’ experience).
- Solid experience using Figma.
- Strong skills in accessibility.
- Experience working with Design Systems, asset libraries or UI systems.
- Ability to create high quality responsive UI designs.
- Knowledge of how to optimise designs for the design systems.
- Understanding and evidence of how to create an intuitive user experience.
- Evidence of working with developers to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation.
- Experience in organising and maintaining components, through the use of documentation.
- Good communication skills and understanding of how to deliver designs to development teams.
- Ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
- Identifying opportunities for design optimisation, improving design standards, and promoting implementation of best practices.
- Experience or knowledge working with Design Tokens.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
