"Have you got experience in Talent Acquisition Partnering? Have you ever led, defined, and improved recruitment processes to improve the candidate journey and add value to the business? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you as a Talent Partner in our Tech Talent Acquisition Team.
As part of this role, you will be a key strategic link between Admiral Group and the wider business community. Reporting to the Senior Talent Partner, your area of focus will be Data and Pricing hires, to ensure alignment between Group strategy and recruitment. You will help create business value from the acquisition and communication of industry innovation and regulatory updates. You will act as a brand ambassador with all key external stakeholders and potential future team members.
This will be a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Main duties
- Proactively headhunt exceptional talent and be a champion for the Admiral brand
- Actively build talent pipelines for critical skills
- Provide market benchmarking which includes, skills availability, market trends, salary analysis, product innovation, regulatory updates, key personnel
- Build and maintain knowledge of the data sector
- Participate in strategic PR activities including the development of relationships and networks with professional trade associations, regulators, colleges, and business organisations
- Develop and execute an ongoing 'Go to market' plan to communicate with relevant communities
- Work closely with the Talent Specialists and Hiring Managers to connect business hiring priorities to relevant sourcing strategies
- Support the day-to-day recruitment activities when required
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry relevant business leaders at all levels
- Stay connected with external market factors as well as new best practices/trends affecting talent acquisition
- Use internal and external market data to advise the business on recruiting and hiring decisions
- Proactively build and contribute to industry specific network and networking channels
- Build and maintain sector knowledge with a particular focus on product innovation and/or regulatory change
- Participate in your business area within Admiral by attending scrums and communicating market knowledge to hiring managers where appropriate
- Investigate opportunities for brand awareness through trade events, career days, industry forums and potential 3rd party sponsorship
- Ensure Talent Specialists and Candidate Experience Consultants are supported during busy periods
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, in either an external or internal environment focusing on various disciplines/verticals (preferably Data/Tech)
- Experience in proactively sourcing candidates using relevant recruiter tools (LinkedIn recruiter, SourceBreaker etc)
- Experience in providing an excellent service to key stakeholders and candidates alike
- Ability to analyse data and make recommendations to various stakeholders for process improvement
- Experience of working with senior leaders in a commercial organisation
Location
You will be expected to travel to our Cardiff office 1 day a week, usually on a Wednesday.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
