As an experienced social media brand marketer, you’ll lead the organic and paid brand activities for our in-house social media team. Implementing a multi-platform brand social media strategy which supports our core brand values and business objectives. Working collaboratively with internal teams and agencies, you must be able will to develop social concepts and campaign ideas that can help drive awareness, consideration and brand sentiment metrics through brand story telling.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the delivery of social media campaigns across a range of to increase brand trust and consideration alongside PR, Advertising and Content teams.
  • Create and deliver against an annual plan and calendar for organic social content that reflects our brand values, product requirements and content pillars.
  • Collaborate with marketing, agency teams and product teams to deliver integrated campaigns which work effectively across all communication channels.
  • Forecast annual targets that increase customer reach and engagement across key social media channels, reviewing progress against set KPIs.
  • Accountable for our social media performance inputting to develop and implement a measurement framework to provide data-led recommendations and insights for future activity.
  • Manage the social media budget for brand and product activity.
  • Utilise social listening tools and undertake competitor analysis to provide valuable insights to the business.
  • Maintain authority as the in-house social expert, staying abreast of industry developments and trends to make strategic recommendations across different departments in the Group, helping to embed best practice and brand values.
  • Identify potential crisis situations and brand reputational risk on social channels and following an escalation process.
  • Responsible for the development and line management of junior members of the social media team.
  • Deliver campaigns to deadlines, ensuring that internal processes are followed, assets meet creative briefs, and the relevant approvals are in place.
  • Act as a 'brand guardian' ensuring all our social content is on brand and in line with tone of voice guidlines.

Additional skills and experience required:

  • An understanding of using social media for brand building and story telling.
  • Proven experience of managing organic and paid social media strategies and a sound understanding of digital marketing more generally.
  • A solid understanding of the wider marketing context with experience integrating social media with other marketing channels.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence decision makers.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A creative thinker who can work accurately under pressure. 
  • A thorough understanding of Instagram and Facebook including Ads manager.
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Google Analytics.
