An exceptional opportunity has arisen within Admiral’s Marketing department, specifically in the Acquisition area. We are seeking a performance-driven individual with proven experience in paid acquisition to join our expanding team and take the next step in their career.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the mechanics of paid acquisition and a passion for performance marketing. You should thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while also being capable of independent, proactive work. Strong numeracy skills and a data-driven mindset are essential. We value strategic thinkers who bring new ideas to the table.
This role is particularly suited for someone with previous line management experience. You should be motivated by improving the personal development of others and finding innovative ways to achieve our targets.
Some Things That You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Senior Acquisition Manager in all tasks as required.
- Training, coaching and developing team members in line with Admiral/Industry best practices.
- Building and implementing new Paid Acquisition campaigns and accounts.
- Restructuring existing accounts to be more in line with best practice.
- Implementing and reporting on ad copy and landing page A/B testing.
- Working closely with product teams to support their business targets, in line with our team priorities.
- Forecasting sales and budgeting.
- Reporting and monitoring paid acquisition campaign results and spend against our budget expectations and targets.
- Monitoring competitor activity and discovering new opportunities.
- Making recommendations to improve performance and drive further efficiencies.
- Identifying any deviations in performance.
- Line managing multiple team members – taking responsibility for their training and personal development.
- Liaising with Regulatory Advice team to ensure ad copy adheres to FCA regulations.
- Ensuring that our technology is functioning correctly and raise, or fix, any issues.
- Planning and running of digital acquisition campaigns; including (but not limited to) Paid Search, Pmax, YouTube, Meta and Display Advertising.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has
- Proven experience in managing successful paid acquisition campaigns.
- An understanding of how to effectively utilize paid acquisition channels to contribute to business objectives, particularly in paid search.
- Experience with bid-management platforms, preferably SA360.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable handling and reporting on large data sets.
- The ability to clearly present insights and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and data presentation.
- The capability to manage and balance multiple projects.
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for paid acquisition and a keen interest in performance marketing.
- Strong time-management and task prioritization skills.
- Line/team management experience.
- Experience and a strong understanding of Social, YouTube, and Display advertising (preferable).
- The ability to proactively strategise and problem-solve.
- Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-moving environment. Can work autonomously whilst assisting the work of others and upwardly communicating.
