"Are you passionate about all things social media and have experience working across the platforms, then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team and implement our Admiral UK consumer brand social media strategy and deliver successful social media campaigns to help boost brand visibility, drive website traffic and customer engagement.
As Social Media Executive, you will:
- Drive activity across our social media channels – including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Implement the social media strategy to increase brand consideration, boost engagement and drive traffic to Admiral.com
- Plan content and deliver multiple social media campaigns, including competitions end to end, measuring a variety of KPI’s and meeting set objectives
- Work closely with marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns (particularly SEO, PR and Content)
- Work with agencies and freelancers when necessary
- Demonstrate the ability to optimise and measure campaigns from start to finish
- Take responsibility for boosting organic content and social campaigns through Facebook Ads Manager
- Brief internal and external studios to create social content and assets as required
- Monitor trends and identify online engagement opportunities or potential risk events
- Identify key online influencers and form relationships to build links and drive traffic to the website
- Respond to social media comments and develop conversations on posts
- Monitor and report on performance for social media activity using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch, Falcon and Google Analytics
- Produce reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Record monthly spend and assist with the budgeting process
- Identify crisis situations and brand reputational risk events, providing support to the Social Media Manager in emergency situations.
- Work with the online customer services team to respond to social media queries and complaints
- Explore opportunities for the company to grow on additional social media platforms
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all Admiral Group social content is on brand and in line with digital tone of voice guidelines
- You’ll be expected to complete regular company-wide internal training as well as any external training relating to the role.
Ideally you will have:
- A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms for business use
- Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform
- Knowledge and understanding of social platform algorithms and search engine optimisation
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Online community management and customer service skills
- An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
- Excellent teamwork and networking skills
- Previous experience of using social monitoring platforms
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in one of the following
- Marketing (particularly digital marketing)
- Media and communications
- Public relations.

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
