Household Product is searching for a Senior Product Manager to join our expanding team. Household has ambitious growth targets and continues to play a key role within the Admiral diversification strategy.

We are looking for an experienced leader in Product Management to join the team to contribute to our growth and profitability ambitions while delivering good customer outcomes. You will be a key part of the Household Product management team.

Responsibilities

  • Create and foster an environment of customer centricity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Putting the customer first in all design thinking.
  • Create a network of stakeholders – who will all champion Household success including working closely with:
    • Operational areas including Household Claims, and Customer Loyalty to help maximise value for the Household business
    • Marketing, Price Comparison and Online to ensure that customer acquisition is as effective as it can be
    • Household Pricing and Underwriting
    • Ancillaries to maximise the sales volumes of and features of our ancillary products
    • Have a strong relationship with the Product Lead and IT to manage and help prioritise the Household back-log
    • Finance – and understand the commercials; Regularly review the business plans and understand the ROI and benefits realisation. Attending change Investment Committee when required
  • Will ensure we are compliant with regulatory requirements e.g., ensuring our products deliver Fair Value and good customer outcomes.
  • To be aware of, and ensure we meet our responsibilities in terms of compliance, data protection, legal agreements with suppliers.
  • Will support the entire department to get a product from idea to launch/market and past the MVP stage.
  • Will regular monitor the market and understand our direct and complementary market competitors.
  • Scope out threats and opportunities that come with changes in the market conditions and trends.
  • Will come up with ideas and solutions to improve conversion or the quality of the products. They will act on these proactively. 
  • Proactively identify potential business risks within the household product area and manage controls for these risks.
  • Be responsible for the relevant management information and the communication to peers and senior management alike.

Requirements

  • Likeable, and good at building relationships quickly with strong stakeholder manager
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a proactive way 
  • Will have strong project management skills i.e., the ability to map out the bigger picture and set milestones and keep the momentum of a piece of work. Whilst engaging the appropriate stakeholders.
  • A leader: Someone who wants to develop a team and will devote time for this
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – likes product design and problem solving
  • Analytical and critical thinking – happy to challenge and consider new ideas
  • Good knowledge of the Household and Ancillary Products insurance market would be beneficial.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
