It’s an exciting time for a content expert to join the marketing department and lead the team responsible for producing helpful, engaging and accessible communications for all our products and brands.
You will work cross functionally with marketing, product and creative teams, as well as business stakeholders, agencies, and other partners to define and deliver the content strategy for our business.
This will involve running multiple projects at once, driving activities to boost our rankings, engage our audience and shape Admiral’s expert voice across all products and UK brand websites (Admiral, Bell, Diamond, Elephant).
Some of the things you will be doing:

- Lead the link building strategy, considering new opportunities with potential partners or influencers, and managing the delivery of four large outreach campaigns per year.
- Manage the content planning and creation process, including brainstorming, copywriting, creating content briefs, proofreading and editing internal and externally commissioned copy.
- Oversee Content budget spend, ensuring that accurate financial records are kept and value for money from suppliers.
- Produce and commission SEO friendly blog content for the Magazine section of admiral.com which is included in the monthly e-newsletter sent to millions of customers.
- Hold monthly meetings with the Product Support team and conduct regular review of all web copy to ensure full compliance with FCA regulations.
- Liaise with business wide teams to maintain brand tone of voice consistency across customer facing communication including letters, emails, web chat responses and quote engine copy.
- Line manage the content team, taking responsibility for their development and providing guidance to other team members where relevant.
- Deliver projects from concepts to final output within tight deadlines, ensuring that internal processes are followed and the relevant approvals are in place.
- Industry training will be provided and continuous professional development is actively encouraged.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent management, negotiation, listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail and high standards.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a creative eye.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
