Senior Compliance Monitoring Executive
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Admiral Compliance for someone to join the monitoring team and play a key role in delivering the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
The role will involve:
- Conducting monitoring reviews of regulatory subjects, internal departments and processes to ensure regulations are being met and excellent customer service is being delivered.
- Completing ad-hoc reviews as requested by the Monitoring Manager and Head of Compliance.
- Preparing detailed and professional reporting on issues found and obtaining agreement from interested parties on actions and timeframes.
- Building knowledge of Admiral Group to be able to contribute to ongoing reviews and the annual Monitoring Plan.
- Support the Monitoring team and Monitoring Manager where appropriate
- Support reporting requirements where appropriate
Main duties
- Own and deliver monitoring reviews of regulatory subjects, internal departments and processes, including interaction with all levels of staff within Admiral and the wider Group.
- Raise key findings in a prompt and timely manner.
- Ensure actions are closed in a timely manner with suitable evidence provided, and any delays are minimised and highlighted at the earliest opportunity.
- Represent Admiral Compliance in relevant meetings.
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships across Admiral and the wider Group.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Able to build open relationships and gain consensus with all internal stakeholders.
- Well-organised, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Able to analyse and interpret complex information succinctly and logically.
- Conduct interviews to establish the risk environment and controls.
- Able to multitask on projects and routine tasks under pressure.
- Objective, with timely and confident decision-making skills.
- Commercially aware, proactive, forward-looking, inquisitive, and attentive to detail.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Able to undertake or already holding relevant qualifications.
- Collaborative, working effectively with teams and top collaborators

This is a hybrid role which requires attendance to our Cardiff office once a week.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
