"Reporting into the Head of Brand in our Marketing department, we are looking for someone to drive innovation, exploration, and improvement of marketing practices to create new opportunities for the brand and business.
You will support and drive the brand strategy and maintain the brand identity inside and outside of the Group.
As part of the role you will lead the planning, development and delivery of effective brand strategies that deliver specific commercial objectives aligned to overarching business strategy.
You will also inspire, manage, coach, and develop teams through the delivery of the comms and campaigns.
Responsibilities of a Senior Brand Manager
- Setting, tracking and achieving team objectives to deliver against the Brand Strategy and marketing OKRs.
- Developing annual activity plans to best deliver against those objectives with the resources and budgets available.
- Leading and developing a highly engaged and motivated team including line management duties
- Support the planning and deployment of the brand identity and guidelines, ensuring compliance with brand
- Lead the development and deployment of the brand visual identity and Tone of Voice for all communications, ensuring creative work adheres to guideline
- Oversight of compelling agency briefs based on genuine customer insight and understanding with clear measurable objectives.
- Plan, lead and report on brand performance, budgets, team performance and people.
- Embedding a risk culture to ensure compliance of all communications and marketing with FP process, advertising standards and FCA regs.
- Engaging key senior stakeholders on brand plans, objectives, and results.
- Connecting and collaborating with leaders in other business areas to ensure strategies are aligned and complementary in delivering a seamless experience for customers and supporting OKRs
- Ensuring that contracts, processes and ways of working are optimised to get the best value from those relationships.
- Budget reporting
Knowledge and technical skills required for this role.
- Experience of managing major brands
- The ability to direct and manage suppliers and partners including creative agencies and commercial partners
- Project and time management skills to coordinate complex deliverables to tight deadlines
- Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks within financial services
- Budget management
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills combining diplomacy with the ability to influence senior colleagues
