"We have two new exciting opportunities for someone with reward experience who is looking for the next step in their career.
One of the roles is based within the Reward team within our People Services (HR) department. You’ll report into our Head of Reward and work on reward for our UK Operations.
The other role is based within the Group Talent and Reward Team. You’ll report into our Group Head of Reward and work on reward across our entire Group.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks and projects, so a great work ethic with a strong desire to succeed is essential! You’ll also need to have an analytical mindset and good experience working with Excel.
Accountabilities
- Assist the Head of Reward with the delivery of the reward strategies (either for UK, or Group, depending on the role)
- Act as a project lead on reward related projects
- Business partner for UK/Group entities, to guide and support with all Reward related aspects and initiatives
- Variable pay management in respect of UK entities
- Work in collaboration with wider Reward teams, People Services team and business to ensure alignment and engagement
Regulation
- Apply subject matter expertise to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Solvency II
- Build relationship and work collaboratively with Risk and Compliance teams on Reward related matters
RemCo Management
- Assist with Remuneration Committee reporting / modelling and pack production
- Draft board standard papers for the Remuneration Committee
- Attendance at Remuneration Committee when necessary
Skills and Experience
- Broad knowledge and experience of reward (within financial services would be advantageous)
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, including advanced Excel
- Able to manage data, provide detailed analysis and prepare recommendations for discussion with senior management
- Logical thinker who is able to independently plan to deliver to deadlines
- Good written communication skills to draft presentations and reports
- Stakeholder management and partnership skills (empathy, listening, influencing)
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
- familiar in the use of salary surveys in multiple geographies
- Able to manage data, provide detailed analysis and prepare recommendations for discussion with senior management
