We are looking for a Product Manager to join our expanding team. Household has ambitious growth targets and continues to play a key role within the Admiral diversification strategy

We are looking for someone who is proactive, with an eye for detail, and a strong awareness of our competitors’ products, who will positively collaborate strongly with the team and our stakeholders towards out common goal.

Main Duties

  • Product ownership: being the expert and owner for assigned products, ensuring that appropriate systems and controls are in place
  • Stakeholder management: forming strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers, arranging regular meetings, and maintaining the product
  • Performance monitoring: actively and closely monitoring key performance indicators, the understanding of data is essential
  • Regulatory compliance: understanding the regulatory environment and its impact on the products, ensuring good customer outcome
  • Continuous improvement: maximising the performance of our household products while ensuring delivery of good customer outcomes and fair value
  • Management information: understanding the department Management Information and the impact changes have on performance and customer outcomes.

Specifics of this role include

The role covers our 3 tier household product as well as covers for boiler emergency, home emergency, landlord emergency, family legal protection and landlord legal protection.

We are looking for the successful candidate to:

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Build strong relations with stakeholders, internally & externally
  • Confidence with data and MI
  • Ability to analyse, research and review
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, transparent, ability to prioritise

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge and experience within the Household and/or Product Management areas
  • A commercial mindset, aware of our competitors and the market
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and working effectively and transparently under pressure
  • Forming strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Household Product in meetings
