Product Manager (Customer Outcomes)

About the job

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager or Product Governance Manager to join our expanding household product team. Household has ambitious growth targets and continues to play a key role within the Admiral diversification strategy.

We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual to play a key role in driving fair value and good outcomes, through maintaining, reviewing and improving our offering to customers.

Key duties

  • Product ownership: delivering product changes and providing product expertise across relevant projects and initiatives
  • Continuous improvement: identifying potential risks, pain points and themes, and driving recommendations to improve outcomes and value for the customer
  • Stakeholder management: forming strong working relationships and regularly liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Underwriting, Pricing, Data Insights, Claims, Marketing and Regulatory Advice
  • Performance monitoring: actively developing and monitoring a suite of product-related reporting to understand and articulate product value, and drive decision-making. A willingness to dive into the detail to identify and understand emerging trends is essential
  • Management information: working with data teams to forecast and understand the impact that changes have on performance and customer outcomes
  • Regulatory compliance: understanding the regulatory environment and its impact on the business, products and customer

Experience and skills

  • Proven background of product management and governance, ideally within the financial services sector, or a regulated environment
  • Numerate and commercially aware, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, whilst understanding the bigger picture
  • Curious, self-motivated and able to work both independently and well within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and confidence in completing and presenting thematic reviews, value assessments and business proposals for committee approval
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and working effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of the household insurance market and key competitors within the market would be beneficial

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
