We are looking for a Process Improvement Executive to join our People Team. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager in our People Operations function, this new role will collaborate with a range of stakeholders to coordinate and help drive the development and implementation of improved employee Starter, Movers, and Leavers (JML) processes for both permanent and contractor employees to reduce risk, improve the colleague experience and increase efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, participate and help drive relevant cross-functional governance forums that have a collective responsibility for assessing and minimising JML risk, improving colleague experience and increasing process efficiency.
  • Coordinate the analysis and re-designing of business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation.
  • Own and maintain the process improvement centralised backlog, ensure each opportunity is consistently assessed as meaningful, measurable, and manageable.
  • Create appropriate documentation (e.g. steering packs) to support the articulation, capturing and delivery of effective outcomes, outputs, and decisions.
  • Create, develop, and maintain the JML process documentation suite to ensure accuracy, relevancy and true reflection of evolving business and customer needs with a view to optimising employee experience.
  • Act as the first point of contact for JML queries or issues, providing advice and guidance where necessary.
  • Support the delivery of improved process performance against agreed KPI’s.
  • Identify, articulate, and validate process improvement opportunities.
  • Visualise AS IS processes to reflect variation across entities and contract types. 
  • Support the development, design, and delivery of effective implementation strategies to ensure engagement, awareness, capability, comprehension and sign off from Process Owners on processes and related policies and procedures.
  • Quantify, propose, and validate improvement benefits post implementation.
  • Monitor and update identified JML risks ensuring each risk has a clear agreed owner in liaison with People Operations Risk and Governance team and Continuous Improvement Manager.

Key Skills

  • Proven ability to develop and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Competent in use of MSFT O365 product suite.
  • Knowledge and experience of HR starters, movers and leavers processes (preferential).

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance
