We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Investor Relations Manager to support the Head of IR and our dynamic team in all aspects of market interaction and reporting. This role involves crafting investor communications and internal reports, conducting financial analysis, and supporting market research. The ideal candidate will be an organized team player with a positive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and a talent for communication, numbers, and processes.

The role is based in the UK and offers full remote work flexibility, with occasional travel to our Cardiff head office, London, or other locations during results seasons (travel and accommodation expenses covered).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare or assist in preparing clear and concise messaging around the company’s financial performance and strategy, ensuring all data is accurate and reviewed.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, business units, Communications, and other teams to prepare or review materials for annual reports, half and full year results, ratings agencies, Q&A packs, and other documents; ensure outputs are high-quality and consistent.
- Conduct financial analysis to support IR materials.
- Monitor and analyze insurance market trends and industry performance to provide insights, including competitor analysis and drafting the IR weekly update.
- Shape responses to investors and analysts, collate external expectations, and help build and maintain relationships with shareholders, targets, and analysts.
- Draft IR reports for the Group Board and management as needed.
- Coordinate/support the junior IR project analyst, including organizing external meetings, conference calls, and roadshows.
Ideally, you will have:
- 2-5 years of experience in investor relations, reporting, financial planning & analysis, financial markets, insurance, strategy, or corporate communications within at least 2 FTSE 100 companies.
Required:
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and articulate complex issues simply (both in writing and verbally); full professional English proficiency.
- Flawless attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Good prioritization and sound judgment.
- Strong team player with a proactive approach and good organizational skills, able to alternate between leading projects and supporting others.
- Discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Helpful, but not necessary:
- Prior IR experience.
- Ability to adapt to various audiences.
- Understanding of insurance principles and Admiral financials.
- Ability to build rapport and influence internal and external individuals.
- Inquisitive mind.
- Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics, or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CIMA).
- Familiarity with capital markets, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
