We’re looking for an Investor Relations Associate; you’ll be a key member of the Investor Relations team, supporting the Head of Investor Relations in meeting financial reporting requirements and in engagement with investors and analysts. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to build their experience for a career within Investor Relations. You’ll have full exposure to the inner workings of a FTSE 100 global business, with the opportunity to build an exciting career in a fast paced and fascinating area of the business.

Location: Remote, with some travel to our head office in Cardiff

Main Elements of the Role:

  • Analysis of insurance market and competitors, including analyst/investor expectations of Admiral's performance (consensus figures, financial models and other external information) and contribute shaping responses to investors and analysts where relevant
  • Work closely with Finance team to prepare all materials for half and full year results including a key role in preparation and project management of Results Analyst Presentation and Annual Report
  • Support the drafting of regular IR reports for the Group Board and management
  • Oversee management of external service providers and contracts
  • Support in planning and co-ordinating investor visits
  • Oversee planning of half and full year results roadshows
  • Oversee planning of any ad hoc conferences including preparation of materials for senior management team
  • Support in building messaging and presentations to communicate the strategy and performance of the Group
  • Provide assistance in identifying, building and maintaining relationships with shareholders, targets and analysts
  • Support Sustainability and ESG initiatives and reporting at Admiral, including the Sustainability Working Group agenda and meetings, and updates for management and Board

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Have a degree or equivalent qualification
  • Flawless attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Strong team player with proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of projects and work independently
  • Basic level understanding of accounting principles and Admiral financials
  • An interest, (or experience) in financial markets/finance/economics
  • Ability to communicate clearly, and articulate complex issues simply - in writing and verbally
  • Ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy and influence internal and external individuals

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance
