About the Role

The objective of this role is to lead a pivotal transformation within Admiral Group, unifying the customer experience across all brands and establishing a truly customer-first organisation. The goal is to create a seamless, integrated customer experience that transcends individual product silos, leveraging a multi-product model to meet diverse customer needs more effectively. This strategic role is designed for a visionary leader with a background in dynamic, customer-focused industries outside of traditional financial services or insurance sectors.

The Head of Value Proposition will redefine and elevate Admiral's value proposition, ensuring it resonates with and exceeds customer expectations. The role demands a candidate with a learner's attitude and a growth mindset, essential for adapting to the ever-changing market and customer needs. This person will use their experience in understanding the customer lifecycle and concepts like Lifetime Value (LTV) to drive innovation and customer loyalty at Admiral. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of customer experience at Admiral, driving significant impact across the organisation and its customer base. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in Admiral's journey towards becoming a truly customer-centric organisation.

As the Head of Value Proposition, your duties will include;

  • Spearhead the formulation and execution of a transformative value proposition strategy, aligning with Admiral's overarching business goals and adapting to evolving market dynamics.
  • Lead the Customer Value Proposition team in the pursuit of innovative value proposition development, nurturing a culture of creativity, excellence, and ongoing improvement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to craft compelling value propositions that resonate across Admiral's diverse customer base.
  • Orchestrate the integration of various products into a cohesive multi-product offering, enhancing customer value and experience.
  • Drive the execution of the customer-centric vision across all stages, from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with Admiral's strategic goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, data analytics, and customer service, to ensure the successful implementation of the value proposition strategy.
  • Champion the use of customer data and insights to inform decision-making and strategy refinement. Employ market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to continuously refine and enhance value propositions, ensuring they remain compelling and relevant.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional stakeholder management skills, resilience in the face of challenges, and the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.

As the Head of Value Proposition, you will have;

  • Proven track record in strategic roles focused on customer experience, value proposition development, or similar fields.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset, adept at translating consumer insights into effective value proposition strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing high-performing teams and driving organisational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing and aligning diverse groups towards a common goal.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs analysis, market segmentation, and value proposition design.
  • Experience in service design, proposition development, and implementing customer-centric strategies in complex organisations.
  • Agile and adaptable, with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate uncertainty.
  • Background in customer or brand sectors, with a preference for candidates outside the traditional insurance or finance industries to bring fresh perspectives.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach, with a strong emphasis on using insights to drive strategy and innovation.
  • Strong experience in leveraging customer and market research for strategic decision-making.
  • A creative and innovative thinker, passionate about identifying and exploiting opportunities to distinguish Admiral's offerings in the marketplace.

Location

This role is a hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our Cardiff office 2-3 times per week. We will give you everything you need to work comfortably from home.

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
