A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the People Operations team to improve the accuracy, consistency, reliability, and quality of the data held within People Services and other associated systems (eg local files). The main area of focus is to ensure the delivery, reporting and requirements, meet the needs of the business so the sources can be used to provide insights for decision making and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data management initiatives and projects in data management, data clean up and quality to improve standards.
  • Oversee the data lifecycle, from data collection, storage to analysis and reporting ensuring the data is accurate and dependable throughout the PS systems and processes.
  • Ensure the reports are consistent, designed to meet the needs of the business, streamlined operationally, and contain a single source of truth.
  • Establish data quality standards, and conduct audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, reliability, and completeness.
  • Introduce, monitor, and report on function KPIs to assess data quality and report on integrity issues and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure that continuous improvement is embedded in all processes and that the evolution of colleague experience alongside process efficiency continues.
  • Ensure data is at the heart of all activity, enabling data driven decisions and effective measurement.
  • Work with the business and the People Services Teams to ensure the customer journey provides a ‘platinum’ experience at every touchpoint.
  • Unify the use of people data across the whole business to ensure that it is managed as effectively as possible and in a compliant way.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and work with Data MI to manage the creation and delivery of MI reports and dashboards to support business operations and drive data-informed decision making.
  • Demonstrate credibility and competence to enhance stakeholder confidence of People Operations
  • Ensure insights are relevant to the audience and accurate so data can be analysed to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve decision-making.
  • Analyse large datasets, identify trends, produce insights, and prepare MI reports and dashboards.
  • Use people data effectively to make informed business decisions and forecast longer term business needs and trends

 

You will ideally have;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Confidence in making decisions and objectively justifying them.
  • Confidence in working independently but skilled at collaboration do deliver results
  • Ability to work with complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in data management technology.
  • Proven ability to develop and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (desirable)

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
