An ever-growing business brings with it increasing levels of complexity. Making decisions in such a complex, multi-product environment is an emerging challenge, and requires analytical skills and commercial insight to help ensure we are making the best decisions for both our customers and the company.

The motor product area comprises of the following teams; Van, Motor Product Insight, Premium Finance, Fees, Underwriting, Core Motor Product, Ford, Price Comparison, Ancilliaries and Telematics.

Role Overview & Key Areas of Responsibility

This position is a standalone role in the motor product area, reporting into the Head of Van. It will support all teams within motor product in understanding the commercial impact of key decisions. It will suit someone who has a good understanding of the financial performance of the different products we offer, and who has experience in producing and presenting complex analysis.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Helping motor product teams to understand the impact of key decisions through the preparation of bespoke analysis
  • Developing a process to better understand and measure the commercial dynamics between different products and income streams
  • Supporting motor product teams through providing timely and accurate insight into day-to-day business operations

Your Profile

  • Qulaified Accountant 
  • Advanced Microsoft excel modelling skills
  • Experience in developing insightful analysis that has helped to inform complex decision making
  • A thorough understanding of how Admiral’s different products make money, including a basic understanding of how pricing is done at Admiral
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to identify and solve problems
  • A keen eye for detail – able to interrogate data and MI to provide assurance over quality/accuracy
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to manage competing priorities across different teams
  • Experience working collaboratively with other departments within EUI e.g. Pricing, online/digital teams
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to tailor communications to the relevant audience. For example, understands the differences that might be required in presenting analysis outcomes to different departments/colleagues
  • Inquisitive – keen to learn about new areas of the business and uncover new ways to improve our decision making processes
  • Customer focused – can balance the needs of the business with good outcomes for the customer

Salary, Benefits, and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
