There is a real family feel here at Admiral, especially when you work with your twin.

We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and caring environment where everyone feels at home in their roles and with their teams. For Liam and Jack, this sense of familiarity is taken to another level as they navigate their roles as Customer Advisors together, as twins!

Here’s a glimpse into their life at Admiral together.

Meet Liam and Jack

Liam: "Hi, I’m Liam, and I’ve been working at Admiral for just under a year. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, playing rugby for my local team, and watching sports like darts. Jack and I both joined Admiral on the same day, although we were placed in separate induction teams. This is now the third job we’ve shared!"

Jack: "I’m Jack, and I’ve been at Admiral since August last year. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and friends and watching and playing sports, particularly darts and football. As Liam said this is the third job we’ve shared, I think he’s following me!"

How did you both come to join Admiral?

Liam: "I came across this opportunity online and did some research into the company’s career progression opportunities. It ticked all the boxes for me, so I suggested it to Jack too as I knew he was also looking for a new start.

We both received offers and started together. The recruitment process was straightforward - I got a phone call offering an interview, and after that, I received an offer within a week.

The progression aspect of Admiral really attracted me, and I’m actually already beginning my progression journey as I’ve recently been offered a role in the same department that supports new starters during their induction period, so I’m very excited."

Jack: "Liam sent me the application link after he found it online. I was impressed by Admiral’s policies and benefits, so I applied immediately.

Like Liam, I was drawn to Admiral because I could see that it wasn’t just a job that was on offer, but a proper career path. I was drawn to the opportunities for mentoring and progression paths into more senior roles within the department, and beyond across the business."

What does a typical day look like for you as a Customer Advisor?

Jack: "A typical day as a Customer Advisor for me starts with arriving about 30 minutes early to grab some food from the canteen and have a little catch up with friends around the department. I then log onto my computer, check emails and messages, and begin taking calls from customers.

There’s a great balance here, with fun activities like themed days and competitions organised by our department’s dedicated ‘Ministry of Fun’ expert, Georgia.

It’s a supportive environment where we help each other, and the job is rewarding, especially with opportunities for progression."

Liam: “It’s the most social environment I’ve ever worked in! It’s been hugely beneficial for my mental health, and there’s a real sense of being rewarded for the hard work you do, which is very motivating.”

What is it like working with your twin in a professional setting?

Liam: "Working with Jack is a positive experience. Being twins has helped us get noticed and form connections quickly, I guess it’s a bit of an icebreaker!

We sometimes play pranks to make people believe we’re just friends. We often joke that we’re just mates, which surprisingly fools some people.

It’s also beneficial for us to compare our phone skills and improve together. Our competitive nature adds a fun element to our work."

Jack: “As it’s our third time working together, we’re quite used to it as this point and it’s nice to have a bit of fun with it.”

How has Admiral welcomed you both?

Jack: "From day one, Admiral has felt very friendly and welcoming. The support from colleagues and management has been incredible.

Even when facing challenges, there’s a positive atmosphere. Everyone is encouraged to grow and succeed, and the diverse and inclusive environment makes it feel like a family."

Liam: “The Managers are always working to get the best out of you and have really helped me reach my potential, and I know others feel the same.”

What would you say to someone considering a role at Admiral?

Liam: "If you have the chance to join Admiral, don’t hesitate. During my short time here, I’ve found a career path, made lifelong friends, and had the opportunity to earn well.

Admiral is not just a job; it’s a place where you can Grow and Progress. You’ll love working here, and it’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss."

Jack: "I highly recommend Admiral to anyone considering the role. I’ve already recommended it to friends, and one of them got the job.

Admiral is a great place to start, even without prior experience, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and financial reward. I look forward to coming to work every day and believe you will too."
