Emily began her career with us as a Claims Call Representative, moving through Claims Telematics, into new motor, and eventually joining Veygo as a Customer Operations Manager.
Veygo is an exciting scale-up within Admiral Pioneer, the new ventures side of Admiral Group. Veygo provides customers with pay-as-you-go car insurance solutions, including learner, new driver and temporary insurance, with flexible cover by the hour, day or week.
Emily transitioned to Product from Operations in April 2023 and is a Lead Product Owner.
Can you describe a typical day as a Product Manager at Veygo?
"No two days are the same, which keeps things interesting!
My role is all about identifying both business and customer needs and figuring out how to solve them.
Some days, I’m interviewing customers to understand their problems, while others are spent brainstorming with our designers or collaborating with engineers to turn ideas into reality. It’s a mix of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
We move fast, we adapt, and we’re always evolving. You’ll be exposed to various parts of the business, which is incredibly valuable. Plus, you’ll be part of a team that really cares about making an impact."
What’s been one of the most exciting projects you’ve worked on at Veygo?
"One of the most impactful projects I led was implementing a new claims management system that solved significant operational issues.
I also worked with my previous team to develop a fraud engine, which helped reduce the risk of fraud at Veygo. That project alone delivered a significant net benefit, which was incredibly rewarding."

"One of the best parts about working here is the exposure you get to different roles and teams.
