"The Facilities Department is looking for a Workplace Service Operative, If you have a passion for providing a great customer experience, with a desire to help improve our working environment then this role could be just what you are looking for.
The Workplace Service Operative will report into the Facilities Workplace Manager and form part of the Workplace Operative Team, you will need to work collectively or independently to provide exceptional service to all our customers.
The role will require you to be on site full-time, occasionally work across site while maintaining a safe, smart working environment.
With the recent changes to the office space at Ty Admiral (Floor 1) and soon to be Admiral Group House (Floor 1), this role will support and underpin how we ensure the facilities and services required meet the needs of the customer, by actively overseeing the work environment and supporting the need to change.
Main Duties
Workspace and environment:
- Proactively maintain the building and workspace by ensuring the required checks are completed to a high standard.
- Take ownership of your allocated areas of responsibilities and provide regular feedback.
- Carry out and complete any allocated facility helpdesk requests within the set time frames.
- Assist with regular maintenance and general upkeep to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Liaise with on-site 3rd parties, dealing with day-to-day queries, and escalating issues to the relevant manager.
Customer:
- Engage with the customer and business to build strong working relationships, that support the delivery of facilities services.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Priorities workload to provide high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Perform your duties in a professional and courteous manner.
Team:
- Adhere to the workplace service operative minimum standards, to ensure a consistent delivery of service.
- Actively participate in team meetings by sharing ideas and providing feedback.
- Work closely with all of the facilities teams to support and implement change.
- You may also be required to join the on-call rota and training will be provided when you have passed probation.
- Perform additional duties as and when required.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Follow best practice and safety standards for all facility related tasks.
Skills Required
- Previous facilities experience not necessary.
- Experience of working in a customer facing role, with customer service experience is essential.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to a high standard.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident at using Microsoft software such as Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Be receptive to all types of feedback.
