We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Finance team as a Finance Systems Analyst. You will support the continuous improvement of financial reporting and associated systems, processes and policies.  This role will appeal to someone who is keen to understand, interrogate and improve financial data, systems and processes through a number of IT platforms that are integral to group finance.

You will work with teams across group finance and IT, developing good relationships with key stakeholders and knowledge of the business systems and data, enabling them to be a key contact for business users. 

The role can also accommodate working towards an appropriate accountancy qualification if desired, given that the systems and data all relate to group financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to, the following, which are expected to develop over time:

  • Support the maintenance of existing reporting solutions within Group Finance
  • Work with various stakeholders on change needs, resolving cross-process and end-to-end business process issues. 
  • Assist in the evaluation, design, implementation, testing and delivery of appropriate further financial reporting solutions within Group Finance
  • Providing and developing documentation, support and ad-hoc training needs to systems users

Skills

Essential

  • Appetite for continual improvement
  • Ability to work independently as well as able to feed into wider teamwork
  • Experience in providing data and analysis in a user friendly manner

Desireable

  • Proficient in SQL
  • A degree in a finance-related or numerical-based subject

Salary, Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidate’s experience. We are happy to see CVs from all candidates who meet the requirements and will be happy to discuss the remuneration package.
