"An exceptional opportunity has arisen within the Acquisition area of Admiral’s Marketing department. We are looking for a performance driven individual to join our expanding team who has proven experience in paid acquisition and is ready to take the next step in their career.
We’re looking for someone with experience in the mechanics of paid acquisition, who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things performance marketing. You should enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-moving environment, but also have the capability of independent and proactive work. Strong numeracy skills and a data driven mindset is essential. You should be keen to demonstrate your strategic thinking and be someone who brings new ideas to the table.
This role would particularly suit someone with previous line management experience or looking for the opportunity to line manage. You should be driven by improving the personal development of others in addition to finding new ways to achieve our targets.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has
- Exceptional knowledge and experience within paid acquisition.
- An understanding of how to utilise paid acquisition channels as a medium to cost effectively contribute to the business objectives – especially within paid search.
- Experience using PPC bid-management platforms – SA360 preferably.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of Social, YouTube and Display advertising.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable handling and reporting on large data sets.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and presenting data.
- An ability to own and balance multiple projects.
- Excellent communication (both verbal & written) and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for paid acquisition and an interest in all thing’s performance marketing.
- Strong time-management and task prioritisation.
- Ability to show initiative and be incredibly proactive.
- Some line management experience preferable or able to demonstrate relevant skills in this area.
- Ability to strategise and enjoys problem solving.
- Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-moving environment. Can work autonomously whilst assisting the work of others and upwardly communicating.
Some Things That You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Senior Acquisition Manager in all tasks as required.
- Planning and running of digital acquisition campaigns; including (but not limited to) Paid Search, YouTube, Social and Display Advertising.
- Training, coaching and developing team members in line with Admiral/Industry best practices.
- Building and implementing new Paid Acquisition campaigns and accounts.
- Restructuring existing accounts to be more in line with best practice.
- Implementing and reporting on ad copy and landing page A/B testing.
- Working closely with product teams to support their business targets, in line with our team priorities.
- Forecasting sales and budgeting.
- Reporting and monitoring paid acquisition campaign results and spend against our budget expectations and targets.
- Monitoring competitor activity and discovering new opportunities.
- Making recommendations to improve performance and drive further efficiencies.
- Identifying any deviations in performance.
- Line managing at least one team member – taking responsibility for their training and personal development.
- Liaising with compliance to ensure our ad copy adheres to FCA regulations.
- Ensuring that our technology is functioning correctly and raise, or fix, any issues.
