It’ll be your important task to contact interested customers who've obtained quotes online or have spoken to our New Business Sales Department but are yet to sign on the dotted line. This, for you, means no cold calling, no cold calling whatsoever. You’re either talking to existing customers or people who’ve already expressed an interest in being insured by us. Your job is to show them why we’re the right choice for them. You’ll help potential customers to really understand the benefits of Admiral's products so they can make an informed choice. Once you’ve built a good rapport and closed the sale, you’ll carefully add the customer’s details onto the system (and give yourself a pat on the back).
You’ll work in one of four areas within Outbound Sales and we’ll help you find the one that best suits your skills and strengths and ambitions. Passionate about our products and committed to providing a high level of service to our customers, you’ll be comfortable talking on the phone, always confident, polite and engaging. You need to be able to handle objections and identify the unique selling points of our products. You’ll also need basic computer skills (Internet and data entry), bags of initiative, and a genuine keenness to keep learning, solving problems and finding answers for our customers. You will, of course, receive comprehensive paid training before you start making calls.
