About Your Career:

Being part of the Serious Injuries Team (SIT) in Admiral Law means making a real difference to someone’s life. The skills required of a case handler in SIT will test you in every possible way, from your legal and technical knowledge, to empathy and patience with people who have suffered life-changing injuries. The journey our clients and their families will go through needs a representative who embodies all these things.

Admiral Law continues to grow with an ever-expanding client base, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for two new case handlers in our Newport office, to work exclusively with medical negligence claims.

About the Role:

The Serious Injurys Team in Admiral Law is looking to recruit two case handlers (Grade C Solicitor/Legal Executive) to join an existing team.

The successful candidate will be capable of handling and assisting with claims with a wide range of complex issues and values. This will be a mix or RTA, EL/PL, and Occupational Disease claims.

Experience of litigation in RTA, EL/PL, and OD is desirable but not essential; however, you must have experience of handling personal injury claims.

This is a permanent role with the successful candidate running their own caseload, as well as assisting senior case handlers on high value/complex claims.

About You:

We are looking for organised and analytical people who can work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines can be tight. You’ll have excellent communication and client care skills, plus a good level of IT literacy. You will be enthusiastic and driven, and above all, will want to be part of a winning team.

What Do We Offer:

This is an opportunity to work with an expanding, but already well-established, team of serious injury litigators who are top of their game. Exposure to some of the most complicated and technically demanding cases that we deal with doesn’t arise often. We support our staff through mentoring, supervision, training and development, utilising internal and external courses. Working directly with our most experienced case handlers is something that cannot be replicated in a seminar.

We offer a competitive salary package. This includes enrolment in the Admiral Group staff share scheme. As part of the Admiral Group (a FTSE 100 Company and named the ‘UK's Best Company to Work For 2019’), you will receive several additional benefits including:

•    Gym membership
•    Staff discounts on insurance products
•    Discounts in an extensive number of local businesses
•    Competitive parental leave & company pension
•    Travel season ticket loans
•    Lots more…

We also offer flexible working options through adjusted hours, working from home and flexi-time.

About Admiral Law:

Our success goes hand-in-hand with having a strong culture where we put our people and customers first. Our philosophy is simple yet effective: people who like what they do, do it better and this, in turn, means that our clients receive the level of service that they deserve.
