As the Technical Security Consultant, you will be liaising with project stakeholders, contributing throughout the project lifecycle and representing Information Security at project meetings. You will be responsible for ensuring that requirements are aligned with Information Security strategy and direction, carrying out risk assessments, providing advice and attending project meetings and approval boards. You will be called upon to provide input into HLD and LLDs, advise on policy and process, and to take part in Transition Team engagements.
You will also collaborate with the wider Information Security function - mainly the Security Operations Centre, Threat Intel, and Security Architecture teams.
Experience and Qualifications Required
You will have a relevant qualification such as CISSP, CCSP, ISO27001 LA, SABSA, TOGAF. You will come from a Security Architecture, Security Consultancy or Security Analyst/Testing background, and be familiar with secure system development processes. Experience and knowledge of Cloud and container technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, K8s, Docker), DevOps, mobile devices and web-related technologies (web applications, web services, API Management, service orientated architectures) are desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential to this role.
