The Admiral Group is a multinational financial services provider, where data and technology take centre stage in delivering our products. We have an opportunity for an experienced Web Developer to join one of our cross-functional teams, helping to build internal web applications for our data and analytics teams.
The role sits within a small DevOps team made up of Developers, Engineers, Analysts and Data Scientists. The team operates outside of core IT; our focus is on exploring and developing new technology choices and data sources that will further increase our capabilities in the machine learning space.
You will have a chance to make a significant impact on our success by building web applications for our support departments including Pricing, Telematics and Fraud.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious individual, that can think creatively around a brief, and challenge when necessary. You must have a keen interest in web development and be ready to research and learn new techniques that can be applied to the task at hand.
We work in an agile environment and are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, and someone capable of delivering to agreed timelines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
You will be part of a multi-discipline team, challenged with building a cloud data platform, and will primarily focus on creating the web applications it will provide. This will include:
