Job Description

The Admiral Marketing department is looking for an experienced and talented PHP developer to join their studio team. The ideal candidate will have full stack experience, with a primary focus on backend PHP development. The following experience is essential:

  • Experience with Drupal 7 or 8 in a commercial setting
  • A working knowledge of the Zend Framework 2.0
  • Linux server administration, in particular configuration management of Apache, PHP and MySQL

The typical day will see you working on one of our many systems, implementing new features and supporting frontend developers with their tasks. Management and monitoring of the infrastructure is also a key part of the role.  Deployment of the code bases is done with continuous integration via GitLab, and experience of the hosting stack and linux operating system will be required. 

About You

The successful candidate will be able great communicator, as clear communication with our internal customers is a must. You must be able to work well within a team and autonomously on project work, and good time management is essential. An ability to work through requirements, plan and direct work, is also essential.
