This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Admiral’s international operations – L’Olivier in Paris! Don’t worry – no French language skills are required and the whole recruitment process will take place in the UK, so you won’t need to travel to Paris for any interviews. You also don’t need any prior pricing or insurance knowledge.
For this role, we’re looking for a graduate with good mathematical skills and a STEM degree to join us as a Pricing Analyst within the Pricing department. This department is responsible for looking at various data sources to help us determine how likely a customer is to claim on their insurance and therefore what price to charge them. It’s a varied and interesting role and a great opportunity to start your analytical career. We have plenty of exciting new projects coming up (geography rating, external data, renewal optimisation, etc) for you to get involved in.
You’d be reporting to our Pricing Manager and will receive full training to enable you to run and manage your own pricing analysis and for proposing rate changes, based on your findings.
L’Olivier Assurance is the youngest insurance company within the Admiral Group and now has almost 300 staff members. It’s an exciting time for the business, as we look to continue our growth and progress within the French insurance market. For this role, we are not requiring any French skills, as we communicate mainly in English in the department and internationally. You also don’t need any prior experience.
This is a permanent position, subject to a four-month probationary period, so you should be comfortable with relocating to Paris permanently if successful.
Interviews will be held at our UK HQ in Cardiff and you won’t be required to travel to France unless you are successful.
