Responsible to: Marketing Optimisation Manager

Working hours: 39.5 hours a week, flexi

Job Purpose

To test and optimise the user experience on both web and mobile landing pages. Time will be spent reporting and gathering online metrics to shape test plans with various marketing teams. The tests will be implemented and reported on to ultimately improve website conversion.


Main Duties

  • Use digital data to identify trends, incidents and opportunities through dashboards and commentary for key stakeholders
  • Support and run digital landing page A/B or multivariate test plans; including building and testing new landing pages, and understanding the effectiveness and performance of landing pages using a range of sources
  • Help maximise the performance of our referral traffic from PPC, Affiliates, Display, SEO as well as direct traffic
  • Using web analytics, session playback and other monitoring tools to understand user behaviour on the landing pages, supplement site metrics and explain trends. Also, to collate suggestions for new developments
  • Reviewing and benchmarking to identify potential opportunities
  • Implementing tested and verified changes to the website via CMS
  • Delivering high-level training on our Web tools
  • Ensuring that all pricing substantiations are up to date across the website

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Awareness of digital acquisition via SEO, PPC, Affiliates, Email
  • An interest in UX and online user behaviour
  • Experience in using web tools, such as Google Analytics
  • A good communicator able to analyse and present results
  • Intermediate experience of using Excel and creating reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings and at all levels
  • A self-starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation

Educational Qualifications Required:

A degree or equivalent in either:-          

  • Business Management
  • Marketing
