Causation Case Handler - Admiral Law

Who are we:
We are a specialist team dealing with the most contentious claims in Admiral Law. We investigate claims where our client has been accused of fraud or exaggerated claims.
Our primary aims are to support our clients when these allegations are raised and to help and support them whilst we establish that they are unfounded. We also aim to act quickly to identify claimants who are making false or exaggerated claims. Whilst we need to support our client, we also need to ensure we are not representing clients who seek to exaggerate or falsify their claims.
We are a specialist area with links to many other departments in Admiral Law. We deal with claims both prior to and after issuing court proceedings, putting forward our best arguments as quickly as possible. We provide the best possible service to our client and make our position clear with our opponents. If our opponent is not willing to negotiate a reasonable and appropriate settlement, we will pursue the claim to trial.
Who should apply:
The role requires a lot more investigation work than your average personal injury claim, so we need someone who enjoys and excels at really delving into the detail of a file. We gather a significant amount of detail, which involves trawling social media, bank statements, phone records, telematics data, CCTV, weather records, school records or speaking to witnesses, employers and gyms.
You need to be extremely organised, proactive and have the ability to think on your feet, as the role will need you to chase lots of information and actively engage with your client and your opponent. You will also need to be a strong communicator. In addition, should you need to issue court proceedings, you will need to comply with court dates and timetables.
While full training will be delivered, applicants should have at least 6 months experience of running personal injury files, as we will need you to have a certain level of knowledge in this field. Experience of post-litigated work would be advantageous but not required. You should also have a degree in Law or an equivalent qualification, but we will consider those without this qualification if they have significant experience in dealing with fraudulent personal injury claims. Please be advised this role is for both our offices in Cardiff & Newport.
