Do you have pricing and analytics experience, and are you looking for a personal challenge that comes with tangible results? Would you like to broaden your own development through working intimately with pricing departments across the length and breadth of the UK, whilst running your own analytics function?

This is your chance to work in the small team that’s making a big difference in  The Data Insight Team provides market-leading pricing data services that enables insurers to deliver our mantra: The right products, to the right customers, at the right time, for the right price.

Capitalising on our successes in the car and home insurance markets which resulted in us winning the 2018 Stuart Morgan “Let’s Make A Deal” award, we are in a position to be hiring a Lead Insight Analyst to drive future growth through consultative bespoke analytics.

You’ll be exposed to some of the smartest pricing and analytical heads in the industry, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a material impact on their businesses.  At the same time, you’ll be increasing your knowledge and experience (and value to the company) as you understand the various methodologies and techniques that are employed in pricing and analytics departments across the insurance market.

Reporting to the Head of Data Insight, you will also be expected to lead the analytics function, by example.  Prioritisation, development, and encouragement are 3 of the skills that you will be required to demonstrate as you build a consultative mini-team that reflects our already market-leading data services.  But in return you’ll have the freedom to explore and work with new technology, concepts, product developments and entirely new markets.

All of this will take your existing aptitudes and push them to the next level – so long as you have the drive and desire to do so.

As building meaningful and productive relationships is a key element of this role, there will be a requirement for regular face-to-face contact and external meetings with senior managers and directors. There is an expectation of travel within the UK and the role may involve participation in professional and social networking events.  There will be an expectation that you will work closely with the Commercial and Data teams.
