Want to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding environment for a company that offers a whole host of great benefits to its staff? is looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for designing, overviewing the implementation and documenting the learning from the tests we are conducting in the Lab. These tests inform us what product features we develop further and what products deserve to be transitioned from minimum viable product to full products.

The Lab is the research and development department in, which focuses on exploring new channels and new technologies to save more money for our users.

This role is a rare and exciting chance to be at the forefront of both setting the strategy and doing the initial steps in exploring new ways to communicate with our users (besides traditional web/email). Moreover, the Product Owner will work closely with the Head of the Lab to build the business cases for new products based on things learned from the tests.

You’ll use your existing experience to analyse various customer journeys and improve our user’s experience, to come up with new and creative ways to increase our user’s engagement and how we monetize this engagement for a direct impact on the top and bottom line. is an agile organisation, and we’ll empower you to make your own decisions, and be able to see the effect of implementing changes in real-time.


The role

This is an exciting opportunity to align your product focus experience with a business angle by participating and driving a number of business cases. It’s a high profile role too, coming with CEO visibility.

You will:

  • Design tests and record learnings from both Facebook messenger and Alexa channels.
  • Identify, deliver and engage with internal and external IT teams to ensure that the changes you propose to be done on the MVPs are implemented accordingly.
  • Record, analyse, and report the relevant KPIs to extract the main insights.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders both within IT, the business and external partners.
  • Working closely with the BI analyst to monitor and report on MVP performance – this may require the creation of new Management Information and reporting dashboards.
  • Timely production and communication of product plans, presentations and reports.
  • Attend and contribute in team meetings and other forums as requested.
  • Assess the viability of new opportunities coming into the team and investigate whether there is a business case to progress.


About you

In the Lab we’re looking for talented individuals with a “get up and go” attitude. You might not have a technical background, but a very keen eye on the customer journey. However, there are a few key attributes that might help you stand out in your application for this role:

  • Grit.  Pushing innovation is not an easy task and you will hear many more “No’s” than “Yes’s”. Therefore we want people who possess the determination to see a task through to its completion, despite any setbacks suffered along the way.
  • Excitement towards customer journeys. We want someone who loves technology (as a user, not as a tech person). Your phone should be your best companion.
  • We, the Lab, are the evangelists of the things we are designing/testing. We need you to emanate the passion towards these products and tests.
  • Objectivity. Analyse the data to help us make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication with an ability to maintain and develop relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, with flexibility to change your approach if required.
  • A balance of being able to work as part of a team, and on your own initiative.
  • Familiar with analysing datasets.
