Full Time

About us:

Admiral Law was created in 2013 and is co-owned by Admiral Group and Lyons Davidson Limited.  We are legal experts who specialise in road traffic accident claims. Admiral Law is one of the largest Alternative Business Structures in England and Wales and continues to grow and develop. Admiral Law’s success goes hand-in-hand with having a strong, people-focused culture. You will be surrounded by a friendly, supportive team who will make you feel right at home from day one.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for Uninsured Loss Recovery (ULR) Case Handlers to join our dedicated and fast paced team.

This role is focussed on effectively managing your own case load and advising client’s on the best course of action in order to recover all financial expenses following an accident. You will be liaising with Third Party insurers to seek recovery from the negligent party.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own caseload of uninsured loss recoveries.
  • Complying fully with agreed service standards.
  • Dealing with administrative procedures as required.
  • Communicating fully with clients and representatives involved in an RTA and non-RTA – including typing your own letters/E-Mails and taking inbound/outbound calls to all relevant parties.

About you:

Experience of claims in insurance or legal fields is an advantage but not essential. The successful candidates must have a genuine interest in law, be thorough and methodical, enthusiastic and organised whilst confidently managing and prioritising a case load.

  • Competencies
  • Excellent communication and client care skills;
  • Proactive handling;
  • The ability to prioritise your work;
  • An organised approach to work;
  • Computer literate;
  • Effective numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Using initiative to drive performance related change in this area

About your career:

The members of our team are at the heart of our success. We invest a lot of effort to ensure that our organisation is a happy place to work where people have the appropriate training to excel in their role, becoming experts in their chosen field.

The management group works closely with individual handlers to ensure that they have the support and guidance to achieve specific goals. This emphasis has led to what we love seeing: people enjoying the job, developing their technical knowledge and understanding the pathway they wish to take in our business. The opportunity for the right candidates to progress internally is paramount.

We offer great opportunities for those interested in furthering their legal career. We currently have a significant number of case handlers in Admiral Law enrolled on CILEx courses and working with the local college and our case handlers is extremely important to us. All of these courses have been fully funded by Admiral Law!

Benefits and rewards:

We believe that happy people do better work and so we offer some great benefits. You will directly benefit from our free company share scheme and we also offer a contributory pension, free life assurance, a generous paid holiday entitlement, free corporate gym membership and lots more!
