About the Team
Admiral’s IT department has supported the core insurance services in the UK for the last 25 years. With the diversification of the group product set to grow, it is now important that UK IT has the ability to develop technology to support the development of the “new and beyond insurance” initiatives as well as the core insurance services.
The team’s purpose is to research and develop technology that will enhance our business. The team is responsible for discovering these technologies, and where relevant, develop proofs of concept and/or pilot developments with those technologies. The team’s ethos is “learn fast, fail fast”.
The team will investigate opportunities across the entire technology stack, including but not limited to; customer facing applications, telephony, back office applications, all data elements (from core data warehouse to big data), api development to enhance integration and service offerings, data centre set ups.
The team are now looking to compliment their skills with skilled Front-End developers who are looking to extend their mobile and web skills and gain additional technical and commercial skills.
