Admiral staff to climb Three Peaks for Action Medical Research
A team of intrepid Admiral IT staff will be taking on the National Three Peaks challenge in the hope of raising £10,000 for children’s charity Action Medical Research.
In August this year the team will climb the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland in 24 hours for the charity which helps more than 300,000 children, young people, parents and carers through 650 projects across the UK.

Last month four of the charity trekkers pictured above (Matt Wintle, Phil Wheeler, Peter Olivier and Adam Morton) took part in the Race the Sun challenge in training for the main event.
The group completed the challenge which involved cycling almost 50 miles in the Brecon Beacons in 8 hours and 21 minutes.
The Three Peaks team has already raised almost £500 through a live performance by their band The Rusty Bolts (pictured below) in the foyer of Ty Admiral.
The team taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge includes Charlotte Bennett, Matt Wintle , Phil Wheeler, Peter Olivier , Wayne Ellis , Ross John , Dan Lewis , Ade Norris , Connor Pearsall , Richard Pearsall , Simon Randall , Callum Summerfield , Rhys Tamplin and Chris Russell.
They will be supported by drivers and support staff including Karl Jones , Johnny lane , Kate Maylin , Jo Stephens.
The Rusty Bolts are Jez Winkless , John Coles, Will Thomas, Garan Pieniazek and Gareth Selfe.
