Admiral signs unique partnership with Athlete Career Transition (ACT)
Admiral has signed a unique partnership which could see sporting stars transferring their skills developed on the field to help our rapidly expanding business.
The partnership will see Admiral work with Athlete Career Transition (ACT) which has helped stars such as former Wales and British Lions Gareth Thomas and former England cricketer Matthew Hoggard MBE to successfully apply their skills to appropriate business environments.
ACT was co-founded by retired Welsh International Rugby Union brothers Andy and Steve Moore to help athletes retiring from their sporting lives make the move into the world of business.
ACT co-founder Andy Moore (pictured above, centre) said: “We are delighted to be entering into a partnership with Admiral.
“ACT focuses on fully preparing elite athletes for their transition into life after sport to deliver huge internal and external value to their business partners.”
Andrew Viazzani (pictured above, left), Head of Recruitment at Admiral, said: “Admiral is officially one of the Best Places to Work in the UK and we invest heavily in the professional and personal development of our staff.
“Sport is a huge part of our business having been official shirt sponsor of the WRU since 2010 so we are pleased to be working with ACT and look forward to the exciting opportunities our partnership will bring.”
