Admiral Law apprentices enjoy life-changing CILEx training
Admiral Law is helping aspiring individuals carve out a quality legal career with apprenticeship training described by students as 'life-changing' and 'rewarding'.
CILEx Law School assessors visit apprentices in their workplace to review progress in developing skills needed to achieve the qualification.
This week is National Apprenticeship Week across the UK and CILEx Law School Legal Assessor Jo Cooksley said: "Admiral has impressed us by their engagement with legal apprenticeships. There is senior buy-in to the strengths of this route into law, and careful thought given to ensure the apprentices get exposure to the right level of work.”
CILEx apprentice Jenna Swan joined Admiral Law in 2013 with no previous legal experience and is hoping to complete here apprenticeship in June this year.
She said: "There are so many benefits to working at Admiral Law, in particular the opportunity for career progression.”
Jenny Pelling, Business Director of CILEx Law School, said: “Legal apprenticeships are an ideal vehicle to develop staff into competent paralegals. As well as gaining hands-on experience in carrying out tasks on files, apprentices are learning about the underpinning law at the same time, so that their knowledge and experience grow together. Apprentices soon move on from administrative tasks to supervised legal work on files.
"Apprentices across our client base find the experience to be more than they hoped for. We recently conducted a survey in which we asked apprentices to sum up their apprenticeship in one word. Most used were the following terms: “amazing”, “impressive”, “exciting”, “challenging”, “rewarding”, “worthwhile”, “life-changing”, “unique” and “opportunity”.”
Admiral Law is now recruiting for New Business Consultants, Litigation Case Handlers and Fast Track Case Handlers.
