The roles currently available are;

Claims Service Handler

A Claims Service Handler is the second point of contact on a claim.  The handlers are allocated claims on a daily basis and they will deal with the repair/total loss of the vehicle from start to finish. The handlers are expected to review each claim and complete the necessary checks to make sure that we can deal with the claims.  Once this is established they will either liaise with the garages to make sure the repairs are carried out, or if the car is written off they will research the history of the car, speak to our customers, value our customer’s car, negotiate the settlement and then pay our customers claim.

During this time they will also be taking inbound calls on existing claims.  The department is open from 8am to 9pm, the shifts consist of 8am–4:30pm, 8:30am–5pm, 9am–6pm and 9:30am–6:30pm plus 1 late shift a week 12pm–9pm.

Claims Third Party Damage Correspondent

Third Party Damage is a technical area dealing with liability disputes, which could lead to litigation. We will deal with the claim from start to finish ensuring that our customer gets the best possible outcome. We are a fast moving department, who need to ensure we are achieving the best settlement for both the customer and the business.

We offer a shift pattern where your usual shift will start between 8/9am until 5/6pm through the week. We also have one 11am-8pm/12pm-9pm every 5 weeks with only 1 Saturday shift every 8 months.

Claims Third Party Hire File Handler

Hire is a very high level department which is non call centre based. We deal with a variety of different hire cases and liability disputes, which could both lead to litigation. We will deal with the claim from start to finish ensuring that our customer gets the best possible outcome. We are a fast moving department, who need to ensure we are achieving the best settlement for both the customer and the business.

We offer a shift pattern where your usual shift will start between 8/9am until 5/6pm through the week. We also have one 11am-8pm/12pm-9pm every 5 weeks with only 1 Saturday shift every 8 months.

Claims Handler (First Notification of Loss)

As a claims FNOL handler you will take the first call from the customer after they’ve had an accident and register the claim. It important that you accurately gather as much information about an accident as possible, determine what our stance on liability is and make sure that policy cover applies whilst giving clear and precise information and advice to ensure that expectations are managed right from the start.
